The Emblem Hotel, Prague

The Emblem Hotel Prague, right in the centre of Old Town/Stare Město, is where we go for long soaks in copper bathtubs, post-spa lounging on the rooftop terrace, and great food. The Manes Boutique Hotel, Prague

The Manes is old on the outside, new on the inside, housed in a 1891 Neo-Renaissance building stood imposingly on a street near the Vltava. It makes quite a statement as you disembark from your taxi. Inside it’s shiny surfaces and black and white, whimsical contemporary takes on classic artwork on the walls. It’s past meets sleek present, in a way, but there’s not much effort to blend the two.
