Here, its grand, historic building is a perfect home for meticulously designed interiors, where plush velvets mix with large windows, subtle colours and neatly curated lighting.
The design is always nicely balanced. Rooms are spacious, but don’t feel empty. Common areas feel full, but not stuffed.
We hesitate about chains, sometimes, but here it feels like a boon. You can expect expertise, top-notch facilities and design with the Sircle chain without the loss of too much personality.

Nové Město, or New Town, is one of Prague’s original boroughs, but the youngest one.
Sir Prague sits close to the edge, near the waterfront and within walking distance from the delightful Slovansky Island, one of three islands that sit in the Vltava River.
It’s surrounded by cafes, restaurants, shopping, all the great tourist things, but less chaotic than Staré Město, or Old Town.
Fontánka Park is minutes away, as is the Faust House. Wenceslas Square and the National Museum are also an easy 20-minute walk.
You can easily cross the Jiráskuv Bridge, or head north towards the Old Town for the medieval romanticism Prague is so famous for.
