Hotel Clermont, in the heart of the trendy Poncey-Highland neighborhood is something a small celebration of the city’s eclectic history. This is an Atlanta hotel with plenty of stories to tell, we’re sure. First built as an apartment block in 1924, it opened as a hotel – the Clermont Motor Hotel – in 1939. It fell into disrepair over the years, and indeed was about to be demolished in 2009, before being bought, restored and reopened as a hotel in 2018.
