Hidden away in Tbilisi’s vibrant, cool, Plekhanovi district, Communal Plekhanovi feels less like a conventional boutique hotel and more like a stylish townhouse belonging to a creative friend. Housed in a former Soviet-era publishing house on Merab Kostava Street, Stamba is a boutique hotel that impressively combines industrial design, creative energy and local culture. The rooms are a designer feast of exposed brick, untreated wood, leather furnishings, brass bathtubs, and have walls lined with books. It’s a distinctive style which we just love.
