In the trendy South Congress neighborhood of Austin, Texas, we find Hotel Saint Cecilia; a luxury boutique hotel very in tune with the city’s bohemian side.

Its eclectic decor, vintage furnishings, and laid-back vibe make it a favorite among passing creatives, artists, and musicians.

It occupies a beautifully renovated 1880s Victorian mansion, and with it having a mere 14 guest rooms, we think you’ll find the atmosphere is personable and intimate.

Hotel Saint Cecilia’s guest rooms are distinctively, and beautifully, decorated, with antique rugs, Victorian and other vintage furniture, and original artwork.

We also love the high ceilings, hardwood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

There are five suites, three studios, and six cozy poolside bungalows. The studios feature private balconies with views of the hotel gardens, while the bungalows have private porches amidst the greenery.

The suites are the most spacious, featuring separate living areas, oversized soaking tubs, and wood-burning fireplaces.

It has a cozy indoor seating area, an outdoor patio overlooking the hotel’s pool, and a poolside bar.

The menu showcases locally sourced ingredients, offering fresh, authentic flavors that we found to be consistently popular with guests.

The bar offers an extensive selection of wines, spirits, and craft beers, as well as a rotating cocktail menu.

The hotel also provides a hearty daily breakfast including eggs how you like them, some great fresh pastries, and a selection of coffees and juices.

The small outdoor pool is the hub of the property when the weather’s warm. It’s surrounded by lush greenery, poolside lounges and cabanas.

“Lovely spacious room, beautiful overall property. Fantastic food and beverage service. The location really can’t be beat, close to shopping and convenient to other parts of the city for dining, etc. Staff is exceedingly professional and helpful…..”

“The hotel grounds were beautiful and the hotel is certainly very unique. We loved the pool area, it was very hip and beautiful. The food was really incredible, probably the best meal we’ve had since we left Europe. And of course, the courtyard with the tables is really peaceful and romantic. The chairs in the courtyard are Parisian bistro chairs, so you almost feel like you’re back in Paris! The birds came up to us and we got to feed them. It felt like a scene from a movie :)….”
