It’s not hard to see why this Downtown Oklahoma City hotel is an attractive option.
The building alone is worth the price tag, which is fairly reasonable, all things considered.
Comfort, revelry and more are housed in the city’s old Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant, a phenomenal mix of red brick, giant windows and gorgeous stonework.
In general, the decor is a mix of southern charm and whitewashed post-industrial hip. It gives uncohesive more than eclectic, in our opinion, but it’s still cute and welcoming.
There’s also plenty to do, at the hotel and nearby, making it easy to get a feel for the city.
If you like a laid-back but comfy atmosphere with a lively scene, this is the spot.
What are the rooms like?

The contemporary-meets-country vibe works better in the rooms, where ultra-modern minimalism is softened by cozy blankets, cheerful colors and large vintage photos of the original building.
They’re all roomy, starting at a 400-square-foot King Single, up to Premium Queen Doubles. The high ceilings make everything feel that much more airy and open.
The layouts are the real delight – in many room types a blocky headboard divides the room into living and sleeping areas.
It gives a suite-like feel to even the simplest guest room. The suites themselves are nothing to scoff at, either.
If the guest rooms are spacious, the suites are even more so, all chic loft-stylishness with soaking tubs and gorgeous views abound.
Whatever you choose, you’ll enjoy super-soft linens and cozy beds, robes and slippers for lounging around and Nespresso machines for the morning.
Make sure to request a microwave or mini fridge if you need one; the hotel will have no problem making it happen.
What are prices like?
And what’s the food like? Any facilities we should know about?
- Café bites: Bodega for coffee, breakfast, and lunch.
- Pool Bar: Drinks and snacks by the year-round heated pool.
- Dinner: Mary Eddy’s serving pasta, steak, and martinis.
- Wellness: 24-hour fitness center.
- Convenience: Complimentary 3-mile shuttle for easy exploring.
Dining options are high quality with a nice amount of variety.
The most laid back is Bodega, a cafe-style restaurant with everything you need in the daytime: coffees, breakfasts, and lunch.
The Pool Bar is attached, more focused on day drinking and evening snacks, both of which we love. It’s set up next to the year-round heated pool, where they have private cabanas and host DJ sets.
For dinner with a capital D, you’ll head to Mary Eddy’s, an Italian-inspired establishment with the quite tantalizing slogan of ‘pasta, steak, martinis.’
Besides the excellent nosh, there’s a 24-hour fitness center for guests that need to work up a sweat instead of letting the sun do it for them.
And perhaps the most key amenity is the complimentary 3-mile radius shuttle. Exploring Downtown couldn’t be easier.
How is the neighborhood? Anything interesting nearby?
- Location: West Village District on the edge of Downtown.
- Nearby: City Hall, Film Row, and the Jones Assembly within walking distance.
- Cultural stops: National Memorial & Museum, Cowboy Hall of Fame, Banjo Museum.
- Outdoors: Scissortail Park 5 minutes away, farmer’s market on select days.
- Day trips: Guthrie or Tulsa via Route 66.
Technically, the hotel is in the West Village District. It’s a cute, Downtown-adjacent part of the city on the edge of upscale creativity and chain-restaurant stripmall.
Just head east, and you’re doing pretty well. City Hall and the nearby cultural attractions are just a 10-minute walk.
Oklahoma City in general is spread out, and the complimentary shuttle is a great way to get Downtown in less than 10 minutes. Usually, it’s less than 5.
In walking distance, however, you’ll find a good number of cute restaurants, the creative Jones Assembly, and Film Row, the perfect place for cinemaphiles.
Downtown, you’ll find the Oklahoma City National Memorial and its attached Museum, which is heavy, obviously, but important.
The Cowboy Hall of Fame and the American Banjo Museum though are a bit of a laugh, and pretty unique.
If you want to spend some time outdoors, Scissortail Park is a 5-minute drive, a popular park with a farmer’s market on select days.
If you have wheels of your own, take the half-hour drive to Guthrie, OK for some cool history. For the real road-trip experience, head down Route 66 towards Tulsa.
