Wylder Windham Hotel’s on site restaurant is called Babblers, a lunch and dinner joint with brunch on Sundays.
The cuisine offers a little bit of everything, from French Onion Soup to a cheesy baked orecchiette to a prosciutto-wrapped shrimp and grits.
Cocktails are strong staples, each one with a little extra touch that makes it feel special.
The bar closes a bit early, so we recommend snagging a couple of bottles at the local market if you want to make a night of it.
In the morning, there are exceptional pastries available at Babblers Bakery.
Choose a coffee off of the menu, and check out the sandwich, oat and waffle options if you’re one for a heavier breakfast.
There are plenty of facilities beyond dining, also. A wide range of relaxing spots pepper the grounds, including seating near small streams, fire pits, hammocks and capsule saunas.
The more active types will love the heated pool, the pickleball court, and a rec room with pool and shuffleboard tables.

The collection of cute buildings that make up downtown Windham are a great visit, but unlikely to entertain for an extended period.

A nice restaurant on the property had live music Saturday night, and there were also several good local restaurants nearby…….”
What Guests Didn’t Like
”TV was difficult to work, basically we couldn’t use it. We wish somebody would accompanied us to the room to show us around so we knew where everything was. We wish there was a closet in the room…..”
”The restaurant’s food was bland. Especially the pasta, not very flavorful. The weather was really cold for August. I expected the pool to be warmer but the water was so cold even thought the staff said it was 85 degrees. It didn’t feel like it…..”
