And what about the reviews? What did other guests think?
Some things guests liked:
”Very large standard room. Lots of light. Huge bathroom with shower, soaking tub, tv in the mirror, and bidet. Friendly staff. Great location a few blocks from the larger hotel hosting a conference I attended. The rate was better than the “conference rate” offered at the other hotel If I return to St. Louis, I’ll be back….”
”Gorgeous old hotel. The hotel and room were wonderful. Staff went out of their way to help with anything we asked about. The room was huge (king bed, desk, arm chair and bench with room ro still do floor exercises. ) bathroom was the size of a small bedroom. Quiet. And never heard anything outside the room. AND there was a record player and a few records!…”
Some things guests didn’t like:
”The hotel restaurant – we waited an hour and ended up leaving without our food. They never came back to check on us…..”
”The pool closed at 10 pm. After an evening game it would be nice if the pool would stay open later…..”
