A comfortable, stylish boutique hotel in a historic building is one of the quickest ways to our hearts, and this Downtown Atlanta gem, minutes from Centennial Olympic Park, checks all the boxes.
Originally an office building on one of Atlanta’s longest-lived streets, the Neoclassical Revival building was constructed in 1923 as part of the extension of the business district.
It’s a gorgeous and well-preserved example of the architecture of the time.
Part of Marriot’s Autograph Collection, the exterior of the Glenn Hotel honors local history, but the interiors are modern and streamlined.

- Casual to upscale: Coffee, snacks, or full meals depending on your mood.
With three different locations for eating and drinking, Glenn Hotel has clearly sorted out its priorities.
Start in the Living Room, the ground-level gathering place where you can enjoy coffees, beers, or cocktails among chic leather couches or around the welcoming bar.
For a serious meal, head to Glenn’s Kitchen to sample some truly enchanting Southern treats.
They call it comfort food for a reason, and it’ll take a few visit to try cheesy grits, fish charred to perfection, and the succulent flavors of a range of grilled veggies and meats.
Like most of the great luxury boutique, the crowning jewel is the rooftop bar, called the SkyLounge.
The Glenn building might not be a skyscraper like it was in the 20’s, but the views, are still pretty stunning.
Drinks are delectable and small plates are available for snacking. We recommend a cool Aperol Spritz as you watch the sky turn colors and the lights of the city come out.
The bar is at its best after dark, the perfect place to watch Atlanta glimmer and glow.
Skip the cookie-cutter high rise hotel and enjoy top-level contemporary working conditions in this historic office building turned boutique hotel.
With multiple meeting rooms, a business center, and a fitness center, it’s an excellent place for anyone traveling for work.

And what about the reviews? What did other guests think?
Some things guests liked:
”I loved the decor, the staff was VERY friendly and informative. My friend & I booked because it was close to the arena. The food was also really good. I normally never order room service but when I come back I will definitely order it again!…”
”The best party was the excellent customer service. It began to pour rain just before time to leave for our special event. Jay provided umbrellas and towels to dry our feet when we arrived. Tomas at the downstairs bar was wonderful with attention to detail and super friendly. Desmond acted as our photographer between his security guard responsibilities. Angelique and Brittany were quick to make sure our bill was divided properly, helped get our luggage to the Uber and water bottle refills…..”
Some things guests didn’t like:
”Breakfast at restaurant was delicious, but no one checked on us throughout our meal. Hostess was very sweet and the gentleman who brought out our food was great, waitress was completely absent for the hour and 30 min we were there. No coffee or water refills, had to track her down for check. We would likely try again since the breakfast was tasty…”
”Rooms are a little small, which doesn’t really matter if you’re enjoying the city. I’ll probably go with a room that has a King bed in it next time….”
