Home to perhaps the city’s coolest bar, Death & Co, The Ramble is an uber-stylish, 4-star boutique hotel in Denver’s hip RiNo (River North) Arts District.

The interiors are inspired by 17th-century Paris it is said, but for us it’s unmistakably hip and modern.

It has an unmistakable New York vibe too. Their bar can take some of the blame. It was the highly regarded Death & Co Cocktail Bar’s first branch outside Manhattan.

What are the rooms like?

Compact in size: Entry-level rooms are small, with all categories leaning toward the intimate side.
Lavish décor: Expect antique rugs, art deco chandeliers, hand-crafted furniture, and plush linens.
Modern comforts: iPads, Bluetooth gramophone speakers, air-con, minibars, cable TV, and sound insulation.

The hotel’s rooms vary in size, though none are really large, we must admit, and the entry-level rooms are quite small.

We find them lavishly dressed though – with antique Persian rugs, art deco chandeliers, hand-crafted furniture, quality linens and super comfortable beds.

Mod cons include an iPad with a Bluetooth gramophone speaker, air-con, mini-bar, cable TV and insulated walls.

And what’s the food like? Any facilities we should know about?

Death & Co centerpiece: A palace-like cocktail bar and restaurant open late into the night, lively and stylish.
Outdoor dining: The Garden offers a more relaxed setting, closing a bit earlier than the main bar.
Event space: The Vauxhall Theater hosts plays, concerts, and screenings, adding cultural depth to your stay.
Extra facilities: Small 24-hour fitness center available for guests.

Death & Co’s palace-like lobby bar and restaurant, open til 1:30 am is the centerpiece at The Ramble, but they also have a nice outdoor dining space, The Garden, which closes a few hours earlier.

We think you’ll find the food and drink superb in both, and Death & Co particularly has a strong following among fashionable locals. It is generally lively and fun.

Attached to the hotel is the almost as lovely Vauxhall Theater, which hosts a great range of events – plays, film screenings, concerts etc.

The Ramble also has a small, functional fitness center open around the clock.

How is the neighborhood? Anything interesting nearby?

Trendy location: In the middle of RiNo, Denver’s most vibrant arts and nightlife district.
Dining at your doorstep: Supa Mega Bien, one of the city’s best, is right next door.
Easy access: Downtown Denver and LoDo are both within a mile.

The hotel is bang in the middle of Denver’s new coolest neighborhood, RiNo, with some of the city’s best bars and restaurants minutes away.

Right next door in fact we have Dana Rodriguez’s highly regarded Supa Mega Bien. Denver’s downtown, and of course LoDo (Lower downtown), are less than a mile away.

”The rook itself was relatively small, though thoughtfully put together. The bathroom only has an exterior sliding door, so there isn’t much privacy. And the shower door was a bit awkward….”
