When you’re waking up to birds singing outside your window and enjoying your coffee on a patio surrounded by softly rustling leaves, it’s easy to forget that you’re in the most famous car city in the world.

And what about the reviews? What did other guests think?
Some things guests liked:
“The property is 2 to 3 blocks off both Melrose and Santa Monica but felt secluded and was very quiet in addition to being totally charming. We were able to walk within 15 minutes to an excellent restaurant for dinner, as well as being directed to the farmers’ market this morning (also easy walking distance) which was delightful…”
“Our room was beautiful with everything we could need. It was so peaceful and tranquil despite being in a city. The bed was huge and really comfy. I’m sure the private terrace would be lovely when there are fewer mosquitos about. The sun terrace was a nice quiet place to relax too. The cups were a lovely touch and a nice reminder of our stay…”
Some things guests didn’t like:
”Rooms could be renovated, windows and doors don’t perfectly isolate from outside noise, however the street is very quiet and our sleeping was overall good. Hairdryer to be replaced…”
”It would be amazing to have a bar or restaurant but there is no space here for that! There are many places in very close proximity….”
