And what’s the food like? Any facilities we should know about?
- Dining: Rooftop restaurant Lemon Grove with plant-based and gluten-free options.
- Bars: Rooftop lounge with views of the Hollywood Hills and sign.
- Leisure: Heated courtyard pool, cinema, and in-house recording studio.
- Wellness: 24-hour fitness center, weight room, wellness classes, and more.
- Extras: Exclusive access to members-only spaces for a fuller experience.
If the spacious suites weren’t tempting enough, The Aster has all the amenities you could wish for. We highly recommend paying the small surcharge for access to members-only spaces.
The standout is the rooftop, where you’ll find the city spread before your eyes and the on-site restaurant, Lemon Grove.
They make a point to include plant-based items on their menu, as well as gluten-free options.
If you’d rather take things more casually, the bar & lounge are adjacent to Lemon Grove and offer the same incredible views of the Hollywood Hills and the legendary Hollywood sign.
You’ll find the heated pool in the courtyard, open to members and guests all year. It’s surrounded by comfortable and stylish seating and views of surrounding buildings, giving it a unique park-like atmosphere.
Another highlight is the wellness center, which is open 24 hours a day and features a well-kept cardio room, and separate weight room. There are rumors of a Pilates studio in the works as well.
If Pilates isn’t your thing, fear not. Complimentary wellness classes and activities range from boxing to yoga to sound bath sessions.
Finally, there’s the in-house recording studio for a truly once-in-lifetime stay, and an incredible cinema that seats 36 on lush recliners and loveseats. In nice weather, they even move the film screenings up to the roof.

You’re only a short drive from both the Greek Theatre and the Hollywood Bowl. The Dolby, Pantages, and of course the Chinese Theatre are walking distance.

They’re all reachable by car, from leisurely hikes around the Griffith Observatory to decadent afternoons of high-end shopping and snacks in Beverly Hills.
The Arts District and Grand Central Market in Downtown LA, or the Los Angeles County Art Museum between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills are an easy trip on public transport, an LA rarity.

Some things guests didn’t like:
