And what about the reviews? What did other guests think?
Some things guests liked:
“Exceptional service with every detail considered. The cashless and tip less approach is terrific, and somehow results in even friendlier and more attentive service. The details in the room from the wine, to the spa product samples, and the personalised candle elevate the experience. The rooms are stunning and luxurious. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has no shortage of activities and areas to explore….”
“Beautiful old building with amazing views of downtown, the Griffith Observatory, and more. Could see all that from our bed. The sun came up right out that same window too. Didn’t tire of looking out the windows….”
Some things guests didn’t like:
”Very difficult to say anything wrong however the pool area is much smaller than the photos show however we didn’t need the pool….”
”It’s an old building, so some aspects of it are dated. The elevators are very, VERY tiny. Definitely NOT for the claustrophobic. Roughly the size of an airplane bathroom. My wife and I were joined in the elevator on one ride by another lady, and I don’t think we could have fit another person in there without all of us getting to know each other a little more intimately…..”
