The Notary Hotel is a 19th-century mansion in central Bruges with beautiful, surprisingly large gardens, and an oasis-like quality. It was the former home of a family of… notaries, which may not be the most romantic backstory, but it did leave behind some very pretty architecture. The decor leans a little more modern — or at least classic — but there’s still beautifully ornate throughout.
