This dramatic, 5-star hotel in Jackson Ward, Richmond is a bucket-list kind of place from which to enjoy the River City. We’ll start by saying that the building is Not Messing Around. It’s a turn-of-the-century….castle? Chalet? Giant stone delicacy? There’s a clock tower, plenty of columns and arches, and that’s just the exterior. Inside, we’re getting marble, we’re getting ceiling mosaics and a truly stunning work of a stained-glass skylight. It would be worth stopping by for just a simple trip into the foyer.
