Yurbban Trafalgar

Yurbban is a now-global boutique hotel brand, but it was born right here in Barcelona. Yurbban Trafalgar offers contemporary, minimalist chic at the intersection of Eixample, El Born, and Gothic Quarter. There are many well-loved Yurbban Hotels throughout the city and plenty to recommend at any of them. We love Trafalgar most though specifically for its location and its more forward-thinking approach, and social atmosphere. It’s one of just two Yurbbans with a sustainability certification. We like its bold, modern architecture, that gets noticed among the older Modernisme of L’Eixample…. > Read Our Full Review

Hotel Neri Barcelona

Barcelona’s only Relais & Chateaux, partially housed in a 12th-century palace, Hotel Neri fits like a glove into the city’s Gothic Quarter. The building is a legitimate gem. Even if the staff aren’t following you around with a dinner jacket, they’re ready… > Read Our Full Review

Hotel Casa Sagnier

Set along the Gaudi-studded Rambla de Catalunya, Hotel Casa Sagnier takes delightful architecture as a given. Of course, nobody on this avenue is going to try and compete with good ol’ Gaudi, but there’s a clear pride in the hotel’s 1892 building. You won’t miss out on any contemporary luxuries, but if you wanted flashy, trendy design for your Instagram, Casa Sagnier might not be the place. The atmosphere is one of modern elegance, a testament to its architect, Enric Sagnier. It’s appointed similarly, L’Eixample is a beautifully refined neighbourhood… > Read Our Full Review
