The Campbell Hotel

In the Renaissance neighborhood, near the University of Tulsa, is yet another nationally-recognized historic 1920s hotel. Not as stately as some of the others, The Campbell instead has a super charming neighborhood-y feel. The bricks are a warm, sandy color and the building is low and sprawling rather than towering and impressive. It doesn’t lessen the appeal as much as make it more intimate. Inside, we get personality. There are multiple themes, from the suitcase installation in the lobby to elegant rooms full of antiques and cute rooms full of… > Read Our Full Review

Classen Inn

This standout piece of 1963 Googie-architecture in Midtown Oklahoma City is an attention-getter of a motel with a design-forward vibe and an easy kind of comfort. The Classen Inn is all-in on the retro, so if some kitsch puts you off, we’d take it off your list. The interiors don’t have quite the same elegance, but they’re soft and easy and… > Read Our Full Review

Bradford House (Design Hotels)

Housed in a lovely 1912 Victorian, Bradford House an independently run Oklahoma City boutique, part of the global hotel group Design Hotels. This means they’ve got some of the unique charisma we love in a hotel, supplemented by a high bar for luxury. It pushes the hotel from the cute more towards the fabulous end of the spectrum. Despite the building, it’s not remotely historical, more like if Wes Anderson was directing an adaptation of Gone With the Wind. So, settle in on the candy-pink couches next to the marble… > Read Our Full Review
